1. Tell me about yourself. When did you come to PVS?
  • My name is Hawa Osman and I’m a senior in high school at pleasant views school. I love welcoming new students to the school and making them feel comfortable and excited to be apart of your community. I first came to PVS in third grade - 2016.

2. Muslim private school shaped your identity and values?
  • Attending a Muslim private school has strengthened my faith, made me a better Muslim, and helped me feel proud of my beliefs while teaching me discipline, respect, and compassion for others.

3. What are your future goals, and how do you see yourself achieving them?
  • My future goal is to pursue a successful path in healthcare.  I plan to achieve this by staying focused in school, excelling in my college studies, and gaining hands-on experience through internships and training programs.

4. If you could pick any Quranic verse, Hadith, or quote that could describe your experience at PVS what would it be and why?
  • I would choose the Hadith, “The best among you are those who benefit others.” My time at PVS has taught me the importance of helping and supporting others, whether it’s welcoming new students, working with classmates, or contributing to the school community.

5. What advice do you have for the underclassmen?
  • My advice would be to stay true to yourself, work hard, and get involved in school activities. Don’t be afraid to ask for help, make connections, and always try to make a positive impact in your school community.

6. What is the best and worst thing about being a senior?
  • The best part about being a senior is having the chance to lead, mentor younger students, and make lasting memories with friends. The hardest part is realizing that this chapter is ending and having to say goodbye to a school that has been like a second home. It honestly is a sad feeling knowing you won’t be in high school again but I’m also excited for the next chapter and all the opportunities ahead.
