A Strong Start at PVS: Principal Anderson Shares Early Reflections and Goals for the 2024-2025 School Year

          As the first day of school falls further and further behind us and we have begun to adjust to the new year, Mrs. Anderson shares her thoughts on how school has been going these first couple of weeks. Based on her responses, it is clear PVS is on its way to another successful year!

What are some things you're looking to achieve by the end of the school year?
​I hope to increase student achievement, increase enrollment for PVS, making sure we are focused on the PVS graduate model, and last but not least have kids have a great educational experience

How do you feel the school year is going so far?
I feel like people are motivated, staff is super excited, and students love to be here. We are off to a really strong start, and people are eager to know what is coming next. I think we've built up a good momentum for this year.

What are the top priorities for the first few weeks?
Transparency, good communication, for students as well as departments, and making sure students are involved when it comes to islamic studies, quran, and arabic; keeping that cultural focus. That, and making sure we give the best academically to the students as they deserve!
